Summer Sewing Camp

For Kids

The Fabric Shop is thrilled to be hosting our "Sew Much Fun" Summer Sewing Camp for kids (girls & boys!) ages 8 - 16 the weeks of June 11th - 15th and July 16th - 20th this year. Each camp session meets Monday through Friday mornings from 9:00 - 12:00 pm.

Kids love coming to camp. Summer Sewing Camp is a wonderful opportunity for kids to spend 3 hours every day for one week learning basic skills and making fun cute projects and clothes for themselves. They will be very proud of their projects.

Miss Donna and Miss Alexis are ready to teach your children sewing skills that will last a lifetime! Whether your kids are new to sewing or have previous experience, you won't want them to miss sewing camp this summer. We have dozens of projects to choose from for beginners to experienced sewers. Campers work at their own pace and make as many projects as time allows.

Favorite beginner projects include:

• Tootsie Roll Pillow, Super Duper Easy Wallet, Bookmarks, 4-squares pillow, Easy Tote Bag, Makeup Bag, and so much more.

Advanced beginner projects include:

• Beach Towel Bag, Big Foot Pillow, Owl Plushie, Bedside Catch-all, Corkboard Carrier, Wristlet, Sleepover Bag, ITouch/IPhone case and so much more !

These are perfect projects for Girl/Boy Scouts badges or 4-H entries for the fair!

To secure a seat in the camp, a completed application and full payment of tuition is required. First Come, First Served. The cost of camp tuition is only $110 per session (5 days). 

All sewing equipment and patterns will be provided for sewing camp. Campers will choose and purchase their own fabrics and notions for their projects. Don't hesitate to look in your own fabric stash. You don't need to spend a lot of $$ on materials.

After registration is received, a materials list will be sent to each camper.
