On the third (3rd) Thursday of each month, we have our monthly get-together where we sit and sew from 6-9 p.m. CST. Our "Sit and Sew" is a no fuss, casual, no agenda get-together with other sewers like yourself, where you bring whatever you are currently working on, starting up, or just one of those PIGS (projects in grocery bags!) that you have hanging around, but just can't seem to get to. No need to register, just stop by and sew with us for an hour or 4 hours, whatever you want!

Some special time, just for you, to relax and put the everyday pressures aside, for a little time anyway. We have light refreshments to sustain you while you enjoy yourself sewing, laughing, and spending time with other like minded sewers while we stitch the evening away, and the best part is....it's FREE!

You'll be suprised at what you learn from each other and the teachers that are there sewing too! Either bring your own sewing machine or use ours - we do have surge protectors for those electronic machines that are so fussy. We have irons and ironing boards, if you need them, and our cutting table is just great for pinning and cutting out patterns, layout out a design for our latest quilt, etc. without all the hassles of moving it around on your dining room table! Of course we have scissors, rotary cutters, rulers, needles, pins, etc you can use if you forget yours, so don't worry about that.

The shop will be open only to you during that evening if you forgot or need anything, and we'll give you a 10% discount, just for coming to "Sit and Sew". All sewers invited! Bring a friend with you too
